GENERAL SAFETY RULES
Classic Thunder’s holds safety for its cars, drivers, track personnel
and spectators in the highest important. Classic Thunder’s tech
inspection of each car and driver are based on NHRA and IHRA rulebooks.
Their years put into safety of each class and type of car is unsurpassed.
Classic Thunder will not try to change, modify or alter the safety rules
of these organizations. Classic Thunder recommends that all cars running
maintain the safety standards and requirements of their class and the
respectable ETs.
Safety check points for Classic Thunder tech inspection are;
Driver to have all driving gear
to meet the class and ET of the car:
Helmet, suit, gloves, boots etc.
Competition license
Chassis to be updated to meet safety standards
Seat belts
Fire bottles
Chutes
Fuel tanks
Engine and transmissions to have all shields and blankets
Blower restraints
Flywheel shields
Transmission shields |
All cars running the first time with Classic Thunder
may be asked to make
single passes during qualifying. Class Thunder Safety Inspection Officials
will review any new car or cars damaged before they are allowed to race.
ITS IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY AS A DRIVER TO MAINTAIN SAFETY
FOR YOURSELF AND PEOPLE AROUND YOU ON THE TRACK AND IN THE PIT AREA.
ALL SAFETY AND GENERAL RACES RULES WILL STILL BE SUBJECT
TO CHANGES BY THE TRACK AND CLASSIC THUNDER OFFICIALS.
