In today's drag racing, everything is getting faster
and faster: more horsepower, higher speeds, and lower Elapsed Times (ETs).
We are going so fast that we have run off and left some of the best drag
racing times behind us. We’ve lost the chance to have fun. Classic
Thunder just slammed on the brakes and we are now in reverse. We are going
back to when drag racing was fun. We are going to offer those cars that
have so much history -- the fathers of drag racing -- a chance to come to
life the way it used to be. Heads up, all out racing to the other end. No
delay boxes, no staggered lights on the tree, just a heavy foot and a good
reaction time to get you off the line. Man and machine against man and machine,
no electronics to give anybody the upper hand. Super Stockers, Gassers,
Factory Experimentals, Funny Cars, Rails, and more are what you’re
going to find at Classic Thunder. Our mission is to make sure that the Classic
Cars are remembered any time you hear it thunder. |
